The composition is the creative written work of the student on a given topic.

In the process of studying at school, students must learn the skills of writing essays of several kinds.

According to the source material for the work of the essay are based on their own experience, a guided tour, a book or an impression of a painting.

According to the degree of independence written essays can be individual and group. As for the latter, this form is most often used in junior classes, when it is still difficult for children to organize their own thoughts and impressions. Gradually the student learns to write individual works.

The genre is characterized by descriptions, narratives and reasoning. In the primary classes, a narrative genre with description elements is used. This is due to the fact that the narrative refers to some actions, and it is quite easy for children to cope with the plot lines. To describe you need more complex skills, in particular, observation. After all, the student is required to indicate the signs of this or that phenomenon, the hero, and for this one needs attentiveness. As for reasoning, this genre requires a logical interweaving of their own judgments in the work, therefore such works are written already in high school.

There are standard steps by writing composition :

naming a topic;

planning;

writing an introduction with a presentation of the topic;

writing the main part of the composition;

conclusion with conclusions.

This is a completely logical structure of work on any composition, which, in fact, reflects the correct and consistent thinking.

The criterion for evaluating the composition is composition – the semantic integrity of the work, how well thought out the construction of the work.

Traditionally, three parts of the composition are singled out:

1) an introduction, the task of which is to introduce the topic, give preliminary, general information about the problem that lies behind the proposed topic;

2) the main part, which directly reveals the theme of the work, provides reasoning, the text of the work of art is analyzed;

3) the conclusion, in which the result is summarized.
